Agriculture and Farming

Agriculture and farming generate a large quantity of residual biomass which is suitable for processing into energy products in the MIHG technology. The range of agricultural and farm residues which may be suitable for a MIHG project are very broad, including:

• residues from grain crops, rice and sugarcane harvesting

• straw residues from a wide range of crops

• comingled biomass and manure from pigs, cows and chickens

• forestry residues of all types

The above feedstocks can also be co-processed with domestic and commercial wastes of all types.
