Modular MIHG Plants

Modular MIHG plants have the following features:

  • Containerised form factor

  • Reusable and Relocatable

  • Scalable from 4 ktpa to over 50 ktpa processing capacities

  • Continuous electricity production of up to 0.5 MWe per 5 ktpa of feedstock 

The modular MIHG plants are pre-fabricated in modules using a standard 40 ft and 20 ft container form factor and can be quickly assembled onsite. The units are feedstock flexible and can process a wide range of residual wastes feedstocks.

 2 x MIHG Modular Reactors

A modular MIHG plant with 2 MIHG reactors has the capacity to process up to 10,000 tpa of waste feedstocks and convert it into enough clean syngas to produce up to 1000 kWe of electricity on a continuous basis.

 4 x MIHG Modular Reactors

A modular MIHG plant with 4 MIHG reactors has the capacity to process up to 20,000 tpa  and produce up to 2000 kWe of electricity on a continuous basis. The configuration of the gas clean up trains and gas engines can be tailored to meet the requirements of each particular project.

While modular MIHG plants can be used in almost any project, when permanent waste processing capacities are over 100 ktpa or more then stick-built plants can be more cost effective.
