13 Nov 2019 - Wildfire Energy is pleased to announce it has been successful in securing a $500k grant from the Queensland Government Waste to Biofutures Fund. The grant will go towards building the first MIHG commercial demonstration project currently planned for Redbank Plains in South East Queensland.
2 Aug 2019 - Wildfire Energy was proud to host 20 students from St Paul's School in Brisbane at its pilot plant. The Year 11-12 chemistry students were given a tour of the facility to learn about the MIHG technology and the path from initial idea to commercialisation. Dr Renae Jones, director of the Centre for Innovators and Entrepreneurs commented that the opportunity was “the perfect way to show students the intersection between content and subject knowledge and application to entrepreneurial thinking.”

19 Oct 2018 - Wildfire Energy officially opened its Brisbane pilot plant as part of the site tour following the Bioenergy Australia STRONG Conference 2018. The opening address was kindly provided by Hon Di Farmer MP and Minister for Child Safety, Youth, Women and Domestic Violence.
8 Aug 2018 - Wildfire Energy successfully commissioned several upgrades at its Brisbane pilot plant including a new gas cleanup system
